Join a small expedition into the Wakhan Corridor — high valleys, Pamir horizons, and some of Afghanistan’s remotest hospitality. Limited to five travellers on set dates, with mountain logistics, camping or local homestays as conditions allow, and experienced Badakhshan guides.

This is the group version of our private Wakhan journey: same wild country, clearer shared pricing. Solo travellers are welcome; private departures available on request.

Day1: Faizabad to Ishkashim

Begin your journey from Faizabad to Ishkashim, following the stunning Panj River valley with panoramic views of the Tajikistan border.
 Drive along rugged mountain roads as you enter the legendary Wakhan Corridor, where the towering peaks of the Hindu Kush and Pamir ranges meet.
 Stop at scenic viewpoints for breathtaking photos, and enjoy tea with locals in roadside villages.
 Experience the dramatic landscape of this remote region — where the Silk Road once passed and empires once clashed.
 Dinner and overnight stay in a guesthouse in Ishkashim.

Day 2: Faizabad to Ishkashim (Wakhan Corridor)

 Begin your journey from Faizabad to Ishkashim, following the scenic Panj River valley with continuous views of the Tajikistan border.
 Pass through narrow mountain roads and highland settlements as you enter the legendary Wakhan Corridor.
 Stop at key viewpoints for breathtaking photo opportunities and chat with locals in small tea shops along the way.
 The drive is long but incredibly rewarding, offering sights of untouched nature and high-altitude landscapes.
 Dinner and overnight stay in Ishkashim guesthouse.

Day 3: Explore Wakhi Villages & Local Culture

 Spend the day visiting traditional Wakhi and Kyrgyz mountain villages tucked deep in the Pamirs.
 Meet local families and learn about their ancient customs and nomadic lifestyle.
 Enjoy walking tours around the villages, visiting old mosques, and witnessing unique handicrafts.
 Capture stunning photos of the high mountain landscapes and wildlife.
 Return to Ishkashim for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4: Trekking through the Pamir Highlands

 Today is dedicated to trekking through some of the most breathtaking alpine scenery on earth.
 Follow marked trails to alpine lakes, glaciers, and mountain passes, surrounded by snow-capped peaks.
 Experience the quiet wilderness, spotting rare birds and wildlife along the way.
 Stop for a picnic lunch in a scenic valley and enjoy the pure mountain air.
 Return to base camp or guesthouse in Ishkashim for a restful evening and traditional meal.

Day 5: Return to Faizabad & Cultural Evening Title:

 Travel back from Ishkashim to Faizabad along the scenic Panj River valley.
 Reflect on your incredible journey through the Pamirs while enjoying the stunning mountain views one last time.
 In the evening, gather for a special farewell dinner featuring traditional Badakhshani music, dance, and local stories.
 Celebrate new friendships and memories made on this unforgettable expedition.
 Overnight stay in Faizabad.
